Other Resources We Highly Recommend

Responding to employer needs, the provincial government, Ontario cities, local not-for-profit organizations and other experts have developed a range of resources related to hiring internationally trained professionals and have made them available to employers across the province, often free-of-charge.

Here are links to some of the employer resources we think are most useful:

   Conference Board of Canada

The Conference Board of Canada has been involved in the issue of immigration for many years and has produced a number of resources and reports that provide practical solutions for employers.

   TRIEC Campus

TRIEC Campus is an online learning hub developed by the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council. It offers free e-Learning modules, videos and discussion guides to support team members and leaders in today's culturally diverse workplace. The resources cover effective communication and team-work as well as recruitment, selection and talent management practices to help create workplaces that include skilled immigrants.

Hireimmigrants.ca is a comprehensive online resource for employers featuring webinars, videos, courses, success stories, articles and a business case.

Employer's Road Map to Hiring and Retaining Internationally Trained Workers

The Employer’s Road Map to Hiring and Retaining Internationally Trained Workers is a practical resource published by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. It can assist anyone involved in hiring internationally trained workers, including business owners, human resources professionals, recruiters and managers.
